Parker Zinn AW25 Case Study
Together, we expanded beyond domestic manufacturing to develop Parker Zinn’s AW25 collection with Peruvian partners - strengthening her creative vision, refining process, elevating quality, and building a foundation for sustainable growth for her budding luxury brand.
A little about my Client:
Founded by Parsons graduate Parker Zinn, the brand grew from her thesis collection into a made-to-order knitwear line crafted in New York. Each piece blends Southern kitsch with New York boldness, marked by striking proportions and playful detail.
Her dotted rabbit logo nods to punch-card knitting, linking childhood imagination to technical craft. The brand’s promise: garments that feel soft yet are built to last.
When Parker reached out, she was ready to grow her label.
She needed a partner who could amplify her vision and build the structure to let it flourish, highlighting her artisan visual language and elevating the technical storytelling her brand is known for.
For her AW25 collection, our focus was to translate her one-of-a-kind, made-to-order sensibility into scalable knitwear that still felt hand-touched and intentional. Together we developed styles that balanced creative vision with technical integrity.
Parker wanted to expand her offering, strengthen her foundation, and ensure her garments could be reproduced consistently while keeping her bold, feminine design language intact. The result was a collection that brought her signature storytelling to life through construction, proportion, and texture.
How a Sculptural Cable Skirt Took Shape Across Two Continents
When Parker began building her AW25 collection, she had two new silhouettes she wanted to produce with her Peruvian manufacturing partner. Her vision was defined, but the path from domestic sampling to a small-batch international production model needed clearer structure and technical guidance.
The Merritt Cable Skirt became a symbol of successful scaling.
What began as a domestically made swatch was re-worked for Peruvian production, preserving Parker’s design language while elevating the technical execution. A study in subtle contrast, the skirt blends Italian iridescent yarn with a Peruvian baby alpaca and merino blend, using pointelle godets and marled fibers to create a soft interplay of light, color, and movement. Designed to pair with its matching cardigan or stand alone, it reflects Parker’s interest in form, craft, and nuance while remaining fully scalable.
Our collaboration allowed her AW25 line to expand in both creative ambition and technical depth. Her order numbers increased, her margins strengthened, and the collection carried a refined, artisan quality throughout.
The Challenge
Parker had already found a manufacturing partner in Peru, but needed help expanding beyond domestically made styles. She needed guidance on how to implement new yarns and construction methods without losing her brand identity. She also needed systems that would help her track development, communicate with the factory, and scale her collection with confidence and get the margins that she needed.
The Approach
We used the KNIT Method to launch 4 SKUs- two new silhouettes, in two colorways, with a artisanal Peruvian manufacturer.
Translated her original domestic swatches into Peruvian Fair Trade, OKEO-TEX certified alpaca blends, ensuring both quality and sustainability, and paired them with Italian iridescent yarns to preserve the subtle sheen and her brand identity.
Focused on stitch placement and yarn combinations to create shaping, texture, and novelty where needed, while prioritizing ease of wear and natural movement.
Developed technical packs with clear stitch layouts and construction details aligned with industry standards, giving her confidence when sharing styles with her new manufacturing partner.
Introduced internal tools, including WIP trackers and TNA calendars, to streamline communication and keep her team aligned through every fitting and revision.
Led fittings and partnered closely with the mill and factory to refine swatches, proportions, and overall fit.
The Result
The Merritt Cable Skirt emerged as a standout of Parker’s AW25 collection, showing how intentional structure and technical clarity can elevate a designer’s vision.
Through Noles Studio’s guidance, Parker gained a development process she can now use season after season, transforming what once felt complex into something manageable, repeatable, and creatively aligned.
With stronger systems, clearer communication tools, and technical design, she expanded her AW25 line with confidence, strengthened her margins, and introduced a luxury product that carries both her signature aesthetic and the artisan craftsmanship behind it.
Building Systems, Structure, and Industry-Standard Practices
Noles Studio built the systems Parker needed to scale AW25, from WIP tools to margin and MOQ strategy, giving her clear structure and confident communication with her Peruvian partners.
The Challenge
Parker was ready to scale her knitwear with Peruvian partners, but lacked the systems, education, and industry standards needed to manage international production. She needed clarity on timelines, MOQs, margins, and technical communication so she could grow her line with confidence.
The Approach
Built the full operational foundation for Parker’s AW25 development.
Created a WIP tracker that logged every style, swatch, and revision in real time.
Built a TNA calendar aligned to Peruvian lead times so decisions stayed proactive.
Developed an MOQ and margin strategy tailored to her size, growth goals, and pricing targets.
Standardized tech packs with industry-aligned construction and stitch guidance.
Provided hands-on education around yarn performance, fit, swatching, and production flow.
Together, these systems removed guesswork and gave Parker a repeatable, scalable framework for all future seasons.
The Result
The ultimate win? With clear structure in place, Parker expanded her AW25 line more than any past season, strengthened her margins, reduced sampling waste, and communicated with her Peruvian factory partners with confidence. The systems we built now serve as her long-term development toolkit, supporting creative growth with technical clarity.
“Meredith is so much more than a consultant, she’s a mentor… She empowers you to feel capable, confident, and prepared for what comes next.”

Graded Measures
A unified, luxury-aligned sizing system was developed to bring consistency, clarity, and long-term scalability to a growing knitwear collection.
The Challenge
As a young brand, her sizing was still fluid and there were discrepancies in grading logic. To create consistent fit across styles, I created a unified size chart to anchor future growth and build customer confidence. She needed a grading system that felt true to her brand while aligning with contemporary and luxury sizing expectations.
The Approach
A custom size chart was developed that merged Parker’s existing fit preferences with industry-standard measurements. All previously issued domestic grading was audited, inconsistencies were corrected, and every graded measure across domestic and international production was aligned to the new chart. The collection was brought into a single, cohesive framework that factories could execute with clarity.
The Result
Now operating from a refined and reliable sizing system that supports both creative intent and production needs. AW25 styles fit consistently across sizes, factories have clear direction, and the brand is equipped with a grading foundation designed to scale smoothly into future seasons.
